About Us

...Who Are We?
We are an Independent, Fundamental, Bible Believing, Baptist Church.  We have a very close church family.  The ministries of our church teach us the Word of God and show us how to live a Godly life!  We currently have about 450 in attendance and desire to win our community to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  We are a mission-minded church and believe that God will bless our faith-promise giving while we trust Him to meet our needs.   Our pastor preaches the Word of God, and believes that God’s Word is the ONLY source of instruction and teaching.

The purpose of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church is to make Disciples of all men.  That is, to reach people with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ and then to teach them how to be effective in their service for Him.
