Judgment House is a walk through drama that is designed to instigate the fear of death in each person. It shows the tragic reality of death in every scene, and reminds every individual that eternity is just a breath away. Worse yet, Judgment House portrays the eternal destiny for all who do not trust in Jesus Christ.
Judgment House is not designed to scare individuals as the traditional “Haunted House” but to help them understand the importance of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is not something that was made up, but is based upon the Biblical doctrine of the King James Bible.
At the end of each presentation, each individual is given an opportunity to trust Christ as their personal savior and avoid the eternal punishment of Hell and the Lake of Fire. We believe that each individual is responsible for his or her own spiritual condition and therefore are the only ones who can know if they truly are saved and trusting in the work of Jesus Christ to get them to Heaven.
Each year for the past decade, Judgment House has seen thousands of individuals walk through its doors. Many of those people walked out a “New Creature” in Christ and begin to seek the things of God for their life. We rejoice in all of those decisions and look forward to the day when we see the eternal gains of Judgment House.
The Bible clearly teaches that Salvation is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8). It is not brought about by anything that we do. Webster defines the term gift as “something voluntarily transferred by one person to another without compensation”. God’s plan of salvation is freely given without us doing anything more than accepting it. Here are a few simple steps to help us understand God’s plan.
1. Acknowledge your sin and its end result.
For all have sinned. Romans 3:23a
For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23a
2. Believe that Jesus died for your sin.
The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23b
3. Confess your sin and ask him to save you.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
If you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior ask him in your own words to forgive you of your sin.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9
Also ask Him to help you make a commitment to live your life so that it pleases Him by a condition of repentance. Webster defines it as : “to turn from sin and dedicate oneself to the correction of one's life”
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Corinthians 5:17
