Youth Leaders

CR and Brenda Bevel:  Both C.R. and Brenda are great people who are important to our church and teen ministry.  Not only are they involved with our teens they are both heavily involved in our camp ministry, Elk Valley Christian School, Judgment House and the church’s year round food pantry.  C.R. and Brenda are a great blessing and we feel privileged to have them at Mount Pleasant.

Terri Byrd:  Terri is one of our most faithful leaders in the youth department.  It seems like she is always willing to go the extra mile without having to be asked.  She is heavily involved with Judgment House and our Camp ministry.  We are thankful for Terri and are hopeful in knowing that she will continue to be around for several more years.

Michael Dennis:  Michael is a great asset to our youth group.  He has been involved with the youth group since he was a member and through that time has worked under several great Youth Pastors.  Michael is a go to guy when you need to get things accomplished and is never known for negative feedback.  Michael is always willing to give of himself and his resources without question.  Since he has worked with so many youth pastors he is also the backup guy if the Youth Pastor is absent because he knows how things need to be done.

Mark, Cindy, Stephanie and Brittany Harless:  This family is one of the strengths of our Youth Group.  They are all willing to help out in spite of adverse circumstances and are faithful to be in church nearly every service.  They are always involved with the Judgment House and camp ministries and are hosts to some of the greatest social gatherings of the year.  It is an honor to have them serving in our church and our Youth Group.

Jennifer Messinger:  Although Jennifer is the wife of the Youth Pastor she is not always recognized for the important role she plays.  It is almost as if she serves double duty as a second grade teacher and wife to the Youth Pastor.  With all she does you could probably say that she works two jobs.  Jennifer’s quiet appearance is always there to offset Nathanael’s and gradually disappears as she gets to know people.
